Calorie Shifting is almost for everyone. Whether you are young or old, male or female, vegetarian or non-vegetarian, you are going to lose weight with Calorie Shifting. However, it is not for those who do not like the idea of eating less carbohydrate and more proteins. Not many people are keen on this concept initially but as soon as they began, they found it much easier to follow than they expected.
If you are also checking out on a routine work out plan from Calorie Shifting, then it isn’t what you are looking for. Calorie Shifting does not provide any guides on exercises because it does not offer enough calories.
If you are a beginner and no idea how you are going to start, the diet is more of a place for you to kickstart to lose weight. It is going to save you tons of cash that others had wasted on fluff programs.
This plan is based on a cycle of 11days where you follow a structured food guidelines. You’ll get to choose the food that you like for the day from the list and it allows 3 ‘cheat’ days (within the 11 day cycle) where you can eat whatever you like.
In summary, the program is broken down into these components:
1. Eat 4 meals per day
2. Switching the meals between carb and protein intake
3. Drink a lot of water
4. Light exercise such as walking
5. Limit the number of sugar intake (but not on the 3 ‘cheat’ days)
6. Eat until you feel satisfied
I believe these guidelines are not that difficult to follow. Calorie shifting makes it easier by providing a diet plan for the 11day cycle.

Basically what happens in calorie shifting is that the calories intake from the food changes constantly and it ‘tricks’ your metabolism. You metabolism works by burning the same number of calories that you take each day at a constant rate. You manipulate your matebolism by upshifting (increase) the calories intake for a few days and then downshift them suddenly to confuse the fat burning system. You body cannot change its functioning at such a short span of time and thus begins to burn off extra fat tissue. By shifting your calorie intake, you are able to force fast weight loss – the natural way.
